The elastic modulus is 22-141 CN / dtex, which is 2-3 times higher than that of nylon. Polyester fabric has high strength and elastic recovery, so it is durable, wrinkle resistant and easy to iron.

3. Heat resistant polyester fiber is made by melt spinning, and the formed fiber can be heated and melted again, which belongs to thermoplastic fiber. The melting point of polyester fiber is higher, but the specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity are smaller, so the heat resistance and thermal insulation of polyester fiber are higher. It's the best synthetic fiber.

4. Good thermoplastic and poor melting resistance. Because the surface of polyester is smooth and the internal molecules are closely arranged, polyester is the best heat-resistant fabric in synthetic fiber fabrics. It has thermoplastic properties and can be made into pleated skirt with lasting pleats. At the same time, the polyester fabric has poor fusibility and is easy to form holes when it meets with soot and sparks. Therefore, avoid contact with cigarette butts and sparks when wearing.

6. Good light resistance. Light fastness is second only to acrylic fiber. The light fastness of polyester fabric is better than that of acrylic fiber fabric, and its light fastness is better than that of natural fiber fabric. Especially in the back of the glass, the sun resistance is very good, almost as good as acrylic fiber.

7. Corrosion resistance. It is resistant to bleaching agents, oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acids. It is resistant to dilute alkali and not afraid of mildew, but it can be decomposed by hot alkali. There are also strong acid and alkali resistance, UV resistance

8. Poor dyeing, but good color fastness, not easy to fade. Because there is no specific Dyeing Group on polyester molecular chain and the polarity is small, it is difficult to dye and dye molecules are not easy to enter the fiber.

9. Poor hygroscopicity, stuffy and hot feeling when wearing, and easy to carry static electricity and dirt, affecting the beauty and comfort. However, it is easy to dry after washing, and the wet strength almost does not decline, does not deform, and has good washable and wearable properties.

Summary:

The fabric made of ordinary polyester filament has the advantages of good strength, smoothness, straightness, easy washing and quick drying, but it has some disadvantages, such as hard handle, poor touch, soft luster, poor air permeability and moisture absorption. Compared with silk fabric, the gap is bigger. Therefore, the silk thread structure must be imitated first to eliminate the disadvantage of poor wearability.
